Hi everyone.

Hope you all had a nice week.

Leaned into another SpeedTrash thing this week. Didn't start it until 4 hours before the deadline. I did a bunch of last minute tracks in 2024, but this feels very different. Its way more fun when the goal is ... make it last minute, and be authentic.

I tried to make a video showing the process of making the song, but i realized that is gonna take some semi complicated setup work to do that with relative ease.

One man's speedtrash is another man's experimental, re-structuralist avant-garde music. I really like the way you use stereo panning to emphasize your rhythmic ideas. Are the vocal delays done in post or are you controlling the speed of them as you're playing?

Terrific!

Heavy track! If this is trash, then call me a renovation worker cause I'll be collecting this

this is RAD.
also kinda wild to see you on the video. for some reason i imagined that you looked like that robot image that you kept posting last year lol
like i said on the discord, your studio looks like a very cool space!

Rock yeah!

Love the "riffier" guitares this week. It feels edited quite a bit which is awesome too!

Love the fuzzy guitar tones and your kick sounds massive!

Super trashy drum sound, broken angular riffing, vocal sounds awesome drowning in the effects.
Love the video editing too.

Feels like everything decomposes, the rythm, the harmony, the lyrics, amazing, we need more of this!

Chop, splice, angles, stereo wide, where it will go unknown, very cool, nice video!

I love how deconstructed and put back together it sounds. love all of the elements by themselves and you've arranged it together really eloquently. controlled chaos smile

My first thought when I heard those reversed voices was that Dormin from Shadow of the Colossus was starting a garage band. tongue

i was gonna say this is RAD - jwh beat me to it

20 questions from emily or maybe just 2

how are you getting the reversed vocal effect? something else about the processing is giving me a little bit of propaganda/
Susanne Freytagvibes - love it

your tags say dawless - how did you record this?

this was very effectively disorienting/intriguing & not at all trash

I don't know what speed trash is but this is very cool.  Excellent placement of parts within the piece.  Nice work on the documenting too.

Neat track! Love the guitar and ethereal vocals
