Happy week 15. Can't wait to hear what everyone got up to.

Testing out a new sound pallet, and further exploring the multiple non repeating section idea thing.

Feedback on the sound pallet would be greatly appreciated. Hope you all had a SICK week.

It's very cool and really good. Regardless of whatever else you're trying to achieve here [composiotionally], this sound is attention-grabbing and dynamic all by itself.

Wicked cool arrangement! Definitely showing off that experimental side of yours. That spooky piano followed up by the vocalizations definitely gives off a super dark vibe. That beat is pretty proggy too.
Sound Pallet Feedback: I think it sounds pretty dynamic and unique. It's actually kind of the reverse of what you were doing before in a lot of ways. Not quite as bassy, not nearly as much distortion, and it feels lot roomier (more space in the mix). Reminds me of Kayo Dot's ethos in a lot of ways. Toby Driver tends to pull a 180 nearly everytime he works on the next record, in terms of what style of music he's going to write and the overall sound/mix of the record. So yeah, good on you for truly going for a different sound.

Interesting how it becomes more of a story/soundtrack/journey than a traditional song, what with the structural constraint. Feels more closely related to other artists on WB with a story-telling vibe than your previous songs. I think it's really neat to think how WB might be influencing the sound. And I like the drum that sounds like hitting a wet cardboard box in a narrow alley.

this hits hard and dissonant! There is a great mix of textures and feels complete and confident. The vocals are so good, inspiring. Nicely done!

Damn, this rips smile Love the addition of the piano

NIN Quake soundtrack vibes. Things are happening, and they are not good! The voices and strings add to the drama. Well built out!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I appreciate it very much. I'm excited to figure out small changes to the pallet without overworking it to death.

This sounds fantastic - you're painting with bold textures. It grabs the ear and won't let go. The growling rhythmic lead is awesome against the swirling, urgent backdrop. I vote keep exploring this sound palette for sure!

wild and tough, i'm into it. love the howling vocal sound that comes in @ :45 and builds from there. nice one, Drum Bender!
