so i've been working on this album inspired by the nintendo 3ds soundtrack. 8am-11am has been uplifting and ambient. 7pm-10pm has been melancholic and ambient. now we move onto the middle of the album, 12pm-16pm, which is going to be unpredictable, weird and far more beat driven.

Frutiger Aero land. I'm floating inside of the circuitry of a 3DS right now. Once things really start to pick up with the piano and bass-ish synth around a minute in, it is absolutely lovely. Thank you.

that transition at around 1:00 where things become "clear" is so niiice!!! such a cool effect. really liking how subduedand subdued this feels while also being super pumping and having strong up beats and down beats.

This is so good! It feels like uptempo Enya, and I'm here for it!

30 seconds in and I already know this is a favorite. It's so nice and floaty, but also playful and innocent. Just a very specific vibe from the DS/Wii era

Beautiful. You really have mastery over the nostalgia in this sound but still take it just beyond into something even more wonderful. You should absolutely be building a portfolio for indie game music production, this is fantastic.

ooof this is gorgeous! the chords are so hypnotic and it just washes over so nicely when the bass comes in too.  The drums are excellent and sound great with that sweet piano that gave me some Robert Miles feels in the best way heart This whole soundtrack has been an awesome ride so far! \m/

loved it from the arps in the beginning. im a sucker for arps and these are really beautiful. the whole track is beautiful but especially enjoyed that part - chef's kiss for me. lots of twists and turns but still cohesive and superb.

i would love to work on some video game music! unfortunately, i'm finding it very hard to find paid work in that field. but maybe one day!

I imagine your best bet for finding work is game jams.

When I visited Ireland for the first time, I looked out on a green field and felt like someone had turned the saturation up on the world. This feels like that. Everything feels innocent and pretty, from the main SH101-ish arp to the e-piano/string duet around 1:10 to the wide pad melody around 1:36. The narrow panning into the big dancy B-section is delightful. And I keep noticing little high plucks and pulses like touches of light every time I go back over the track. The 2010s will never die!
