Guitarsamples "sequenced" manually in grm atelier, bandpassfilter presets changed manually at the same time... they say you cnanot polish a turd, however you can still add reverb and some crunchy random filter stuff.

I think it has the vibe of something made with tape degradation with the crunch and skipping heart it's really nice

Thanks so much!

It is two or three layered playheads in atelier and I changed the loop brackets for 3 presets to get that thing going, I did not really bother with sequencing controls or adding modulators, the core strength of atelier for sure. But I like to fail or not do the obvious with certain tools I guess. I was a bit shit with the set of bandpass filters I applied, I removed a lot of other things in the process and then used the grm recording, put it into ableton, set up two sends and automated these a bit. One are m4l ports of the efx "guitar effects by "mesa.elech" http://www.ondomusic.com/mesa.elech.tele/ and the other is the romb effect by fors.fm.
I guess that the orginal guitar sample of me had some graininess already.
Week 2 was again much more hectic for me with submitting something than I thought it would be/it needs to be.
My main takeaway is that I usually give up too early, paired with some kind of "not good enough" to share mentality.
So, I am quite happy to read comments, especially as they have been super nice so far.

hey this is dope! cool sounds, no idea how you made it, it's just mysterious and interesting to hear and has a special kinda vibe. don't sell yourself short, u are a wiz for making this and it shows careful listening and awareness to sound, which is rare and precious!

It sounds like the soundtrack after the protagonist has realised something horrible has happened that he can't remember and panics as he notices he's covered in blood that isn't his

Ha! Checks out for me. tongue

cam here to comment just because I loved the sounds coming out of my PA speaker! don't sweat it. i been doing this for years. you'll go back and hear some weeks from the past and go, what was i thinking, but also the opposite, you'll go back hear something that is surprisingly good! maybe this will turn into that. i'm working on a whole album of drone kinda stuff, this reminded me of that genre.
