Queen of the Hill above the Water

By Aletheia on January 11, 2026 9:02 pm

A playful tune made with percussive sounds coming out of Omnisphere 2. When I don't feel particularly inspired I randomly search this enormous trove of presets, in particularly skipping the pads which would be the most sought after in this software. Thus it's sometimes quick and rewarding to find some sounds and start a track.

Really nice sounds here.  It does have a quality of water droplets hitting a bucket or something, but in a harmonious way.  It is playful, but also kind of soothing.

Really delicate atmosphere here. I can imagine this floating out through clouds high in the mountains.

Very nice nuanced percussive sounds. It has a very spiritual vibe to it with the delay and the windy atmosphere.
I like how it stays very open en relaxed throughout while constantly introducing new sounds and rhythmic patterns.

I really loved the kind randomness of the hits, and the vibe of the background. Like I'm lost in an eclectic and chime store, and bumping into everything. Just want to keep wandering!

nice jam! love the rhythms in between the instruments! all omnisphere? one of them sounds similar to the steel pan i got my mom for xmas hehe

Ethereal pads, playful drums, I like the harmonies and the drums coalescing!

presets don't get enough appreciation
Very pretty song
