Not sure about this second part of Neo Retro Power Dance

But this will DOOOO!

Did try to re-track, re-arrange previous track so it is a 3 piece rock band arrangement... Did track maybe a bit quickly, then instead of coming back to it, I did some time edits that probably didn't work that good (I am used to do those in Reaper, was on Ableton for this track and some stretch points seems to have been added at the wrong place, etc, etc...) Anyways, the fact is that performance wasn't great and I tried to get away with it and I am not sure about this. Listening back now I feel the reverbs are maybe a bit weird too, but this is what I have and it is ok.

Maybe with some cool vocal-more melodies lines that it would work better. Maybe it is not that bad.

Anyways, another week DONE!!!

Take care all.

JPD.

I honestly don't hear a single issue with any of the reverb or anything else. This just sounds like a dope ass (prog?) rock song.
Also, I really like it bare like this, without lyrics or vocals! Nice job!!!

yeah, i'm into it! it feels loose, but in a good way. i really like that snare sound

I like the combination of rock and synth in here. Kind of prog-rockish. You can go even more experimental for my taste. Well done.

I second Q-Rosh - that combo of rock and synth is very good. La progression des accords est interessante. Il y a quelque chose d'epique, une aventure interestellaire! Bon track, avec bien sur un bon son de batterie.

i third Q-Rosh!  Love the combo and those arp swells especially. Excellent drums as well. The bass note at the end perfecto!

I liked the first part, nothing wrong with it so far. Then the breathy sound hit and it really only went up from there.

Dope ass MONO prog rock... lol did export last two songs in Mono by mistake. It doesn't sound that much better in stereo, but it is what it is! Thanks for the kind words.

Thanks! the secret sauce for the snare is to add some saturation... smile Distortion in parallel makes everything better wink.

Take care.

I know! You are pretty deep in experimentation yourself sometimes! smile I am kind of "square" but loose... if it can make any sense. Not the most imaginative-exploratory mind, but I like to go for things I know - like. (I don't mind trying new things but it is not my main path most of the time.

J'aime le grandiose, le beau, le magnifique!!! Imagine la track en Stereo maintenant! (Je me suis trompé de piton en exportant, pas facile)
