Little live set

By djippy on November 27, 2022 4:23 pm

An improvised jam and a song we have since a while but never released...

Welcome in the rehearsal local 354 at la cité 2000 (2000 Notre Dame, Mtl.)

Sorry, no time for anything better or genuine djippy stuff this time. (And sorry I didn't listen, comment as much those last weeks.)

Take care all. Rock!

Vocals - Mitch Levis
Guitar - Niko Sevoz
Drums - Jean-Philippe Denis (yes this is myself)

I don't understand how people can improvise singing vocals like this!

no apologies needed, I won't report you to KedBreak136 aka the WeeklyBeats police

quiet instrumental breakdown in the middle was very cool 5:26

listened to the whole thing! terrific job!

This sounds drunk in the right way. The punk rock way.
- Devieus

Super grungy! Lots of energy. Rad!

TOO LATE!!!

Wow that intro reminds me a lot of Metallica's Enter Sandman's intro. However when the bluesy voice enters along with the heavy riff, this is more like Danzig territory. That fuzzy guitar riff has also a very nice stoner vibe. Alright 90s stoner metal with blues rock voice, ain't that the best combo! C'etait bon, ca! C'est le genre de bon jam a voir dans un pub!

chunky, I love the stoner guitar tone and loose vibe.

Thanks a lot! I might rock a little again tonight with those guys... (But feel very tired now, It still might be cancelled... we will see)

It is almost always fun to rock the place with those guys.

Thanks! Yep, live jams are good fun. We are not the kind of "perfect" band but it works good for dirty blues rock garage...

Pushed hard tube amps with some more overdrive in front works great! thanks!

The intro reminds me a little bit of Dami Suzuki, before it goes into howling grunge territory. Nice work on the drums. Love the psychedelic aspect.
