What Should I Do

By dewdrops _tunes on February 8, 2026 7:59 pm

I had an entire song structure setup for this with a verse and a chorus and all that. I've been trying to work on structuring my songs better because I kinda just go off vibes and it can be a bit jarring at times. Well unfortunately, I only had chords coming into Sunday and so I ended up ditching most of the structure and doing this, which isn't to say it is bad, but on relisten it is definitely jarring because the intro is trying to take you somewhere you don't end up going.

Despite all that, it was kind of really fun to play with the vinyl scratch samples and this came out a bit groovier than I expected it would. Hopefully you all had a great week, excited to dive in and listen to everyone's stuff.

I think the intro works well with the verse. Also love the fun lead synths, kinda reminds me of katamari. Great vibe in general!

I totally get the struggle with song structure, I keep having trouble with it as well.
The intro feels a bit more energetic than the rest of the song, but the entire thing was very enjoyable anyways! Gave me a little bit of Steven Universe vibes because of the piano chords I suppose, I really liked that.

fun jam, didn't feel jarring to me! i like the stereo percussion, and how the bass comes in to push everything up into the clouds  big_smile

Oh, this is pretty sweet.

fantastic, the stripped back intro and the drop into vocals and chops is very fun. super cool stuff, head bobby.

Great intro. Awesome vocal samples.

Those record scratches are great!! An excellent song! I definitely didn't think it was jarring at all! I thought it all flowed really nicely! Super smooth, I enjoyed it a lot.
