Power of the Bells

By Devieus on December 22, 2024 11:34 pm

Merry Christmas

You ain't never heard something like this before, unless you like Trans Siberian Orchestra, then you've heard something like it before

This might as well be a Christmas miracle, feeling sick almost all week and making a game the past few weeks as well, but fortunately, this song was planned well in advance
Years, really
It's got all the bits of Chiptune of the Bells from 2012 and Chaos of the Bells from 2014 (without the ukulele this time, having been replaced with a proper electric guitar), balanced out and improved with a decent progression

It's quite nice

Will do it again next time

It's easier when the hard work has already been done

Also, happy new year in case I don't see you again
- Ebrit

P.S. do check out jwh's song this week as well, my fingerprints are all over that, same birds in fact

These are some powerfull bells! Great arrangement!
Merry christmas! Hope you're feeling better.

This IS quite nice! smile

Great arrangement, I really like how you incorporate guitar into chiptune. I need to go back and check out the other versions.

heck yeah, well done! this has always been one of my favorite carols, and i really like your arrangement here.

Yeah, that theme is something else, isn't it? Your take on it this year definitely has the chip metal characteristic to it. It's epic, but within the chiptune box. An interesting genre y'all got there!

And yes, a very good job on the jwh collab this week!

Carol of the Bells and its variants are my absolute favorite Christmas song. Fantastic work. Also super cool to see that it's been so long in the making!

Always a fav holiday theme to hear and excellent rendition with your wall of guitar sound \m/  The bells rock in this for sure.  Also excellent collab with jwh, such a fun song! smile

These are Bells of great Power, not many can wield them.
We're getting there.

After a year of doing them, I can say conclusively, they go really well together.

It's been a tradition for me/us (save a few years), it's time to bring it back.

I'm just amazed how much the guitar brings to it. It was always chiptune, now it's the chipmetal we set it out to be this year.
Also thank you, he did most of the work on his stuff, really, but he got what he wanted and made it work real well.

It was time. It's been years. A decade, in fact. It needed a fresh coat of metal.

It's never too late for Christmas this heavy. TSO hits different in July.
