Chiptune of the Bells

By Devieus on December 23, 2012 11:10 pm

Chances are, if you're listening to this, it's Christmas; furthermore, there's a reasonable chance it's summer where you are, but it's winter here. Let it sink in the southern hemisphere has Christmas during summer.
So, my second chiptune, this time public domain music straight off the sheet with an added clock in the background for extra flavor.

Cool! Which tracker did you use? (or program)

cool rendition.. but check out this one. it's my fave

it's too bad that such a beautiful song is associated with christmas. It's true with a lot of stuff though. Religion poisons everything.

I really like this piece, I like the Transiberian Orchestra version too. Christmas is awesome.

@Codekk: for this one in particular I used LMMS with 3 Freeboy tracks, one for the base, one for the treble, one for the lead. The clock I added later with audacity.

@Phil: Trust me on this one, you can listen to this version whenever you want, though you might want to wait for me finish remixing it a bit better, it's clearly a rushed job, the clock is somewhat out of sync and I wanted to transpose the base a couple of octaves down.

Nice rendition.
