result is a bit cornier than I'd usually go for but sometimes you just start a track and you follow it where it wants to go. Done on M8 using only synth engines.

Thank you big_smile

Maybe I'm biased but there's nothing corny here. I mean, maybe the Casio pluck isn't a particularly strong start because it's nailed to the grid and there's no velocity variation. But after the beat gets going at 0:38 the song lifts off. The break at 1:38 is very satisfying with the well-placed synth stabs, and the finale is just gorgeous!

An uplifting tune! Yes I like melody and what supports it. Good feels. Yeah, I hear you about following where the track goes, that's the way!

So joyful smile I really enjoy this kind of vibe. I wouldn't call it corny, but then again I am fairly corny haha.

really digging the tones & textures here

Ha, thank you! Yeah, that casio pluck is the m8's/braids karplus-strong, definitely a lo-fi feel to it. Humanizing it a little would make sense.

Heh, thank you, I think I'm just so biased against making anything that sounds kind of happy, got to work on that ...
