y'know I grew up with opl3, adlib sound and sega genesis and this would been perfect for some kind of city building or factory game. I love the sounds, and it has this chill, focused vibe.

Fellow D-05 user, huh? Nice, they're somewhat rare now. That lead fits quite nicely! Sounds like Soundtrack but with fast attack. I'm honestly not sure if I'd call the organ chords more cheesy than the Dr. Groove drum sounds

Thank you, what do you mean, nothing cheesy about these crisp and (maybe slightly crunchy) acoustic drums And yes, I totally love the sounds of the D05, even if I've pretty much just used it as a preset machine. Got mine off craigslist during COVID from some old hippie guy who said he used to play in a band with an OG D50, but decided he needed to move on and was getting into modular
