Intergalactic

What do you do when you try 3 different ideas and none of them work? I had no clue but what started as an accidental homage to Jamatar turned into this weird space thing that definitely deserved more time than I gave it. Lots more experimentation with effects and mixing in this.

Nice drumming and stereo imaging. Very spacey smile

ah dude big_smile this is so great big_smile

when i played the squaresounds preparty in 2016, i only had 2 goals: 1. be like shirobon 2. go see shirobon play

after i ended up meeting him, my one goal was to write a song like out of love big_smile only i didn't really know much about production and was using all the stock cubase plugins. anyway i ended up hanging out at his house in the UK and he was nice enough to show me through some of his project files, i didn't have the guts to ask him to show me his out of love file haha

anyway i came back home to aus and wrote interstellar and i was so worried it was a rip off of out of love that i didn't want to send it to him. anyway, he loved it and i never told him about any of this lol big_smile big_smile big_smile

keep up the great work big_smile

I wish it was longer smile enjoying the atmosphere a lot

kind of reminds me of some phoenix wright music (which is a great thing)

Fun track! The simplicity works in its favor I think, I can easily zone away with this.

Also, kudos to Jamatar for telling us that story! I think we've all got our heroes on pedestals, and places like this (the wb forum) help with realising we're all just hoomans.

This was one idea that definitely worked.
