Regret

Just finished watching the admittedly dystopian series called The Man in the High Castle on Netflix. It was a very ambitious undertaking to make this book by Philip K. Dicks into a streamed series. This author also wrote the book called Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?(Later the movie Blade Runner). I remember (as a humble Kroch's and Brentano's bookseller in the early 1980s) getting many calls special ordering this book. The title cracked me up-- and I did read it. It was not as funny as one would think, given the title--pretty grim.
There is such profound regret in many of the characters in The Man in the High Castle. I salute Philip K Dicks for his daring and his imagination. I don't regret watching this series. It was quite well done.
My piece for Week 20 begins with a repeated riff, that gets more agitated as it is embellished. It ends violin in sul tasto (over the fingerboard) and cello on a low C.
