Itchy Eyes Signal the Start of Spring

Wowza, 13 weeks means 1/4 through? Way to go folks.

Busy week so it's a chill guitar noodling track smile The two chords moving back and forth is the only "written" part, other tracks are ad-libbed but one has a bit more of a "lead" role and the others are mostly little picky notes for the vibes. 5 guitar tracks total. No grid/metronome so we're really freewheeling here haha. I'm so much more relaxed about the process when doing something like this vs something more "arranged" with vocals, etc. Surely there's a lesson there >.>

Something something spring vibes. Seasonal allergies are some nonsense but still happy for plants blooming. Hope you all get some sunshine or at least nice weather wherever you are.

this is lovely! freewheeling impro for this is the best way. the thawing spring feeling comes out strong. spring blessings to you too!

the tone is a bit boomy btw but I recently discovered my room has issues on boominess at ~130hz, that might be part of why (but it also happens on headphones listen so maybe consider it still).

Absolutely beautiful! Feels like floating away on a cloud.

Came for the relatable title (ugh). tongue
Stayed for the warm, soothing downtempo guitar (yay). big_smile
Beautiful work. heart

so nice, this world

soothing

Yeah, congrats on completing Q1!

Yeah, freewheeling sounds great here. Too bad it's so short! I imagine some Kurt Vile vocals here, something that's almost half-spoken, not "verse-chorus-verse-bridge-chorus".

The itches aren't nice, but these sweet tones definitely are.

Thank you! I think you're correct about the tone, I tend to love how boomy guitars sound in my headphones but those frequencies get a bit too much when layering several tracks.

Thank you! Worried about overstaying my welcome on this one, haha. Vocals could be nice, didn't think about this but appreciate the idea.
