Electroplankton #002

By Crash Overture on February 10, 2026 5:38 pm

Another electroplankton experiment. (The 2006 nintendo DS game)

This time I used Luminaria - you can hear the part when I got all the little suns stuck in same path and was fighting to get them out. I had to use audacity to create an ending.

I am sleep deprived as fuck this week, figured out what was causing it and removed the noise.

Very pretty, the movement in the stereo field really makes this piece, as if the instruments are dancing around each other, delightful!

I didn't know electroplankton yet! Thanks for introducing it to me. The result is very pretty! The melodic patterns remind me a lot of the stuff that I get when I play around with midinous. Sleep well this week!

actual footage of me listening to this delightful music:

I do not know what it would actually look like to compose with Electroplankton, but I am imagining all the stars and planets whirling around and twinkling and chiming

And then a giant cosmic stylus poking them to try to herd them, but the celestial bodies are ambivalent.

this feels like magic go to sleep music - hope you got some rest this week

How delightful.

Thnak you! It wasn't intentional but I will play with the stereo more now.

Thank you! I didn't know about midinous it looks fun. Yeah, the sad part is that the used market is weird, so sometimes you can find it for like fifty bucks over times it's well over 125. They really need to re-lease it.

That's a  fairly accurate description! I should do a video at sometime. Mostly it trying stuff and figuring out the layout of where sound will go.
