Dedicated to the lovely city of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Renee and Alex

I can't seem to find the revolution
I can't seem to find the sacred ground
Always searching for some solution
Nothin' ever seems to be found

Sneaks up so quickly
Melts away so slow
Makes me feel so sickly
Makes me feel so low

Can't seem to hold my concentration
Can't seem to get my point across
Can't seem to find my meditation
Always have to settle for the loss

Sneaks up so quickly
Melts away so slow
Makes me feel sorta sickly
Makes me feel solo

I think this feels sort of familar
I think I've seen this story before
I can identify the killer
I can tell the rich from the poor

I can't seem to find my direction
I'm lost out in the desert an' the sun
Always stuck in some situation
All alone, I'm not the only one

As you know, the ICE we know
Is so much more than ice and snow
Out there in the freezing cold
Killing those with hearts of gold

This is cool!! Nice work. Was it hard to fit the vocals into the song, or were you planning on them from the start?

Just made up the vocals last week.  I've been in a lot of screamy punk bands, but wanted to try something different.  I don't really "like" my voice, but just wanted a slow, deep sort of sound, like Morphine or Ween or something.  Thanks for listening!

Thanks for pouring your heart into this one. Wow, the changeup at the end was unexpected! Nice!

Oh god damn this is great. Harmonica and organ? Hell yeah. Lyrics are awesome.  Build up to the images in the last verse are great. And that last style changeup was amazing.

Keep fighting for justice. Fuck ICE.

Thank you!  Yeah, I just improvised the drums first, then added everything else after.

Thanks for listening!  I just improved each part, one at a time, like I was jamming with myself.  Definitely didn't plan on any lyrics until last week.  I lived in Minnapolis for a year when I was younger, so all the bullshit that is going on up there really hits me hard.
