Nice tune. I like the cello and the vocals with the acoustic it has sort of a twenty-second century Shenandoah valley flavor. (I know we aren’t there yet - well some of us haven’t been, but that’s a different conversation)  very good.

You can probably highlight it even more by reducing the guitar to just one strum per bar when the cello comes in.

   True, I sometimes think of vocals being separate from instruments, but really they are an instrument too.  That line about the instruments used was actually supposed to be in response to NWSPR's comment... not sure how it ended up there.  Oops.  Here I'll try again...

  Yeah I probably should try it some more.  I also broke my middle finger on my pickin' hand about a year ago and while it is much better it still doesn't feel "normal."  I think it might hinder me a little bit.  But I shouldn't let it stop me from at least trying.

Love the vocal harmonies in this, especially in contrast with the guitar strums and cello.  Wouldn't have known that was a popcorn tin because it almost sounds like a stick on the edge of a snare a bit.  Nice work!

Probably, I know how difficult it is to overcome hand injuries. I had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands years ago and it took awhile to overcome it. Now my left hand has the bulk of my arthritis so I’m not even close to as fluid or as fast as I used to be. My right hand (picking) is pretty stiff also. I originally taught myself to fingerpick and learned using all 4 fingers like Fernando Sor instead of just 3 like Segovia. I didn’t know that at the time, I was just a young and stupid professional guitarist trying to get better.

Yeah I was hoping my finger would be pretty much close to normal after a few months, but now I'm not sure if it ever will be.  I came close to cutting the tip completely off and there are a lot of nerves in that area so it's pretty dang sensitive still.
