Lull

By Cosmic Cairns on May 15, 2018 11:57 pm

No big story behind this one.  Just an acoustic guitar based song this week to hopefully help lift us out of the lull we may be feeling at this point in the Weekly Beats grind (or life in general for that matter).

Beautiful track... thank you for you!

Mmm great track, lovey harmonies

Thanks. We can certainly use a lift from the morass of contemporary life. ::)

Good good music. Thank you sir.

I feel lifted by this track :-) I think I can hear the sunshine.
Thank you!

I'm getting the WB burnout a little bit!  This is a nice uplifting piece.  Love your vocals on this, and the reverb that kind of shows up at moments.

"Don't stop now!"  heart

Thanks man!
Perfect Soundtrack for the sunny weather today. Dancing Fred Astaire like to the train wink

Just what I needed. Well played and sung. Nice harmonies and layering.

Thanks!  It's always nice when you can work in some halfway decent harmonies.  Sometimes I find it difficult, but it seemed to come pretty easily with this one.

  That's for sure.

Thanks!  Just thought it would be fun to throw in a couple spots of extra reverb.  And yes, don't stop now!

Thank you.  Harmonies are some of my favorite parts of music when I can actually pull them off!

I'm not feeling the grind at all, but I am feeling this song.

I am feeling all the grinds, and this lovely tune helps. Conjured some good images .. floating indeed. Can't stop now. Great vocals as usual smile

That's excellent that you're not feeling the grind.  I've managed to not let it get to me too much so far, but there's still a lot of year left to go!  Thanks for listening.

Very glad if I can help even in some small way.  Thanks!

We've both been doing this for almost two full years (me a little longer) so I can definitely imagine what you're going through. I also believe you've been making the same style of music for the better part of it all, which definitely doesn't help a lot with the grind.

This song is beautiful.

This is super relaxing!  Excellent vocal harmonies as well.  Totally feel ya on the midway lull, 'don't stop now!'

  Must.  Keep.  Going.  smile

Such wonderful sentiment. In my head this is playing during the closing scenes of a film where two friends are driving on the open road after enduring some kind of life-affirming ordeal (in a good way).

Thanks!  It's always cool to hear what sort of imagery is evoked in people's minds.
