Received a new toy in the mail, the m8 hardware tracker from Trash80. Took quite a few hours for me to warm up to it, as I'm still fairly new to trackers, only so far having been exposed to my nerdseq.

This is my first little jam, nothing special. A very deep instrument and it sounds great! Running the audio out to an OTO Bam for some input gain and additional reverb.

too much reverb :grimace:

There is a little too much reverb indeed, which drowns the track a little but this m8 seems very promising. All sounds are from it?

You got a couple of nice motions here, and also not nearly enough reverb.

Lol. Thanks @Devieus

Yup! 8 independent channels plus effects, multiple synth engines and a generous sample library as well as sd card for loading whatever sounds you want. It's also portable and open-source! A very rad tracker-based synth/sequencer.

It's made by the guy responsible for https://weeklybeats.com/ and https://chipmusic.org/ -- he's been working on this for years. I think he said his next run might be done through a kickstarter. He also has a patreon where he posts news and updates for folks who are interested. https://www.patreon.com/trash80
