improv 8 — crossing a river

Improvising for Weekly Beats. My self-imposed limitations:

• Digital piano as an input device (Yamaha P35)
• Moderately limited warm-up before the recording
• No edits after the recording is made
• Four VSTs for the year, one for each season

Doing this to explore improvisation as a practice of being here and now

This one is messy. I lost my way few times and the right hand's line is too hasty
Mental image: Ghibli-esque brass colossi are crossing a river

Winter VST: Mikro Prism by Native Instruments
Please share your suggestions on a VST I should use in spring

I like the bass tone color very much. My mental image in the third of the song: sparkling stars above the pyramids that beams the light towards the sky smile

Very nice, thanks! I guess the mental image with colossi can surely merge with yours.
This is how pyramids were built in that world. Colossi.

Maybe not a river, but more of a plain at night.

It might be a plain! The river is not endlessly vast.

So we have colossi. They're walking through the ancient land of plains, rivers and pyramids.

Sometimes the land is illuminated. It's the pyramids that beam rays of light into the starry sky.

Dracula listens to this after every kill... it soothes him... . .. . . it makes him feel whole smile
