Jody's Crush

A hip-hop export out of my MPC at the start of the week had some issues so I reverted to my d&b comfort food.

Lenzman NQ drums (Loopmasters)
Total Science bongo fill (Loopmasters)
Bass patch from gforce Axxess (again)
Arp, lead & strings from Analog Lab
Some random audio samples for FX

I think I can add a few more elements and some drum variation to draw this out longer and mold it into something worth paying for. It's very close to there. I'm very pleased with the bones. I'm particularly pleased that I fat fingered a lead that I am 100% happy with.

I guess this is liquid d&b? The atmospheric d&b police will definitely tell me so.

I hope you enjoy. Let me know what I can do to make this better.

Love the melodic cues coming in and out of this track :-)  Also - what is Liquid D&B anyway?!  (I've heard so many variations)   Coz you asked for constructive criticism, the only two things I'd do was put a post-fx compressor on the lead that lets the break tickle the lead a bit.  And also add a second break later on in the track (something a bit more organic).  Also tune up the vocal a bit.  But those are small things - the track rocks smile

Thanks. This is exactly the kind of feedback I am looking for!

Love the deep growly bass underneath the heroic lead and breaks.  A head nodder from start to finish \m/

Yeah that’s certainly liquid.

Ease back and enjoy it, it’s a lovely tune

Oh hell yeah. This is killer.

Great vibe man!! I agree with cTrix comments, a second break would be awesome!

Nothing comes to mind to make it much better you did great and im also 100% happy with your lead! Love this
