Last Minute Noodle in Fmaj

By Bunjigram on October 6, 2024 11:44 pm

Well, it's been a busy week for a semi-retired dude.  Didn't have much time to devote to my music. I used the weekend to get caught up on some home projects and was working in the yard today on a ladder, cleaning out gutters ... ugh, I know.  Anyway, when I finally finished my chores, I took a shower, poured myself a brewski, and looked at my watch -- 6:00 PM.  Hmmmm, I still had two hours. Well, damn it, I said, get your lazy az upstairs, sit your butt down at the keys, and crank something out. So, here's a little noodle in Fmaj.  I don't know why I like that key, but I use it often.  Used a somewhat darkish German piano from Arturia's V.3 group and very quickly mastered in Ableton. Hope all have a great week, and as always, thanks for stopping by.  -- RCN

This isn't a noodle, this is an entire Italian restaurant. Great structure and emotion, and I love your chord voicings. Relaxing and joyful.

Thanks for leaving your beer for a little bit longer and getting this recorded, I really enjoyed it.

I think your "times_a_tickin" noodles are catching just the right amount of inspiration/motivation needed.  Let the music flow when you need it to smile  Agreed Fmaj is one of my favs.  Dmin for sad and Fmaj for smile  Lovely outro as well. Cheers to the brewski!

That's the spirit!

Piano is a very nice instrument that is great to listen to by itself. Well played!

it's a beautiful autumn day here. got the windows open and there's a sweet bird singing along to your expressive playing. thanks for this!

LOL, now everything I say "noodle" I'll think of your reference to an Italian restaurant. Actually, working as a busboy at one was my first job when I was 13. Anyway, thanks for the comments. Maybe I should drink beer more often when I'm recording smile

Yep, I agree about Fmaj and Dmin. They are just great keys to noodle around in. Sorry for the tardy response. Glad to be back.

Well, maybe I should start adding some birds and other nature sounds to my tracks. My keyboard sits next to a double window in my second floor office/studio allowing me to look outside into the sunlit branches and leaves of a full-size Red Maple that attracts numerous birds and squirrels. I like to think that they influence my playing a bit. Maybe that's why your bird was singing along smile

It's a very comfy key, nothing wrong with that.
