Box 47

Sorry I missed last week. Almost missed this week too. Sat down at my keys at around 5 pm today and noodled something out. Didn't have time to go back and fiddle with it. It's a one-take improv, like I did in my earlier days before I started using Ableton and all kinds of plugins. It might be a bit on the soft side volume-wise since I didn't have time to do a lot of mastering. Not one of my better works, but this week it's more about the commitment to produce something, anything, and not have an empty box 47 on my page. As always, thanks for stopping by. - RCN

Absolutely, it's about putting aside a bit of time for creativity, no matter what heart Glad you got something in!

I really enjoyed this one, much like all your "noodles"...this one sweeps and soars. Love your chord voicings. Made me think of figure skaters, all smooth motion. Calming and beautiful. Thank you!

Thanks Paisleyfrog. I'm working on "putting aside a bit of time" challenge all the time. My standing excuse is that I work better under pressure, but that can be very limiting when it comes to using all the toys at our disposal. I liked the picture of figure skaters for this. Gives me a different perspective on the character of this noodle. Thanks for listening.

always nice to hear you play, RCN!

Thanks jwh! Always enjoy your creations as well.

Love the nostalgic feel to this.  After boxing everything up for the move.  One last look/noodle back in time over the years.  Excellent deep low ending chords too. Well done!

Thanks TM.  Always appreciate your listening and comments. I need to catch up with your recent posts.  I've gotten behind lately in my engagement on here and the year is almost up. Nooooo....
