Made from microbat calls collected with a bat detector. That's right, a bat detector. First part of a collaboration with Australian environmental scientist, Dr. Lindy Lumsden at the Arthur Rylah Institute for Environmental Research in Melbourne.

Very nice. Just curious, is it possible to say how much of this is natural bat rhythm...? Was there much sample chopping?

Yep, way down. As I understand it the bat detector divides the frequency by 8

There's a little bit of stretching about 3/4 of the way through, but the faster stuff is natural bat rythm. Pretty cool, hey?

Was hoping for Katamari Damacy, but got an education instead.
