Now you know how I feel.

After tracking was done, I really got into it in the mix. Happy with how it turned out.

ha, this is how i felt all week! big_smile and how yours turned out makes me happy too: mix is great, and the energy is solid throughout, an ecstatic release!

I feel you on that.  Musically this is such a banger though, would be great to expand on.  Love how everything comes in too.

holy crap that opening fill, i need to learn how to play that - i kept repeating it before going into the song.

LOL I was wondering what the track title meant.

your voice is really good on this - especially the harmony

WB anthem right here

This is how I feel most days, but I really dig this song. That said, I have this feeling it's going to get stuck in my head whenever I sit down to write, now.

And yet you did anyways, and a very fun one at least for us in the weekly beats... smile

Your drums sounds great to me. Love the lead guitar line on this one and your vocal line adds to the track (I couldn't do that this week...)

And like orangedrink mentioned, the opening fill catch us right on.

ROCK!!!

For sure, even though you didn't feel like it you created a great hook that could fit nicely as part of a larger song. And yeah, great opening fill and great riff/melody combo.

Guess there's always tomorrow, unless it's Sunday.

It would be an honor.

Thanks! Even though the song is kinda throwaway, or at least not something I could use for an album without significant development, I have never been closer to achieving my drum production goals. I've really learned a lot about how to properly compress and set them in the mix this year. It's nice to have people like you around that keep me reaching!

Thanks, mate!

Haha I'm pretending to feel like it, and acting like that!

lol, i'm actually back for more and i'm downloading it

Great catchy melody on the guitar with that opening lead. I like the Oscar Wilde-ish paradox of the theme of the song. Good singing, good guitars, great vocals, and made me chuckled. What's not to like. smile
