As I grow older I find myself really unable to get too much into club music, and for sure I don't seem to be able to muster the energy to actually write it, I always want to slow it down, or keep it chill and not get into the groove to much. Maybe there's a space for this middle aged narcoleptic disco music, like slowly nodding my head to the beat while drinking a cocktail in a good suit.

This style of club music works very fine with me, especially from 2:40 on. Very well done.

you should get stickers made!

whatever you call it, this track is so great.
i don't have a good suit, but i raise my cocktail to you

I feel ya on the club tempos, I'm usually stuck in downtempo land smile  I like that warped sorta pad sound.  This has old vinyl feel but with those spacey tropical vibes.  This is def something I'd raise my drink to while doin a head nod, hip wiggle combo. Nice work.

I can relate. Personally I would love a club with this kind of music, keep it calm and leave the hectic tempo outside.

"Middle Aged Narcoleptic Disco Music" is indeed quite a good label, and although I completely find what you mean, I think this is quite dancy and powerful. Very "Ibiza Global Radio" late afternoon playlist...

I think it's quite a personal nice take on deep house. Pretty enjoyable, no doubt

yes there's definitely a niche of that kind of music that I love very much although I don't know a lot about deep house in general and it's not easy for me to find that particular wave in between the huge amount of releases

Oh I know what you mean. Some of the genre could sound very "samey", kinda like waiting room music, and that could be argued about bad trance and dub techno.

At Ibiza Global Radio, every afternoon at 14:00, there's a show called "Melodias para tu sofa" by José María Ramón. They could sometimes be a little too "lounge chill" stereotypical music, but I myself would struggle to find one hour of good quality music every day.

That being said, I've found many cool releases just listening to that radio station instead of following super mega cool underground labels reviewed Resident Advisor that ended sounding... well, boring.

I miss reading Mixmag... but I'm old and there's more good music now than before, although it's very difficult to find it "from the outside world".
