I got lost trying to recreate a synth sound patch in Serum and couldn't get it to sound as cool, turns out there's a lot of small stuff that you can't really see or interact with in some synths that ends up mattering a lot to the sound, like the internal gain structure or how the different voices are managed. Still very nice to listen to synths just drone on for a while lol.

A nice and absorbing wash of sound.  Easy to get lost in.  The ending reminded me a little bit of Stranger Things.  And yes, the nuance of what makes synths sound how they do is certainly interesting.

Very nice atmospheric track! I agree with Cosmic Cairns: It is easy to get lost in this; like synths taking you away on a trip that has no clear destination.

Awesome soundscape, let those synth drone forever ahah

Floating inside infinity. That pad is so nice and evolves so subtly that when the plucks and arps come in they have a large impact. I enjoyed this a lot!

yes
pads
forever

Such subtle shifts, until the end where it is more clear and cobtrastful, much like life, how some changes build up in the background and then you are suddenly aware a shift has happened

Lush!!
I did a big drone last week.
Sometimes to me it feels less valuable to make, because it's easier?
But man, I really enjoyed listening to this.
Excellent sound.

thank you, that's definitely the feeling I chase and try to pursue

lovely work. low tones are like a gentle whale under the boat

wonderful leaning into the sounds.

I always find, trying to recreate something and failing, you create something else truly amazing in the process.
