Void Hunters

Feeling my Reznor inspirations this week.

I think it came together pretty darn good and tickles a lot of those NINisms.

My brain is so pooched this morning I don't even know what to write. Roadie work for a wedding band until 6 am last night then off to the studio 3 hours later for a 10 hour day.

Cheers weekly beats crew!

Feels creamy somehow. Very good stuff.

Dirrrrrrrty! So much grit in this, nice vibe

Oh hell yes!

You establish the pedigree in the first few seconds - that is absolutely the NIN feel. Great guitar tone and percussion, trashy and huge. Filter work is on point. Particularly like how you have the NIN flavor in here, but it’s definitely your song, you’re not aping anything. Great work!

This is nice, I love the grittyness of it. Great work!

Everything except the arp is subjected to some form of distortion. I neeeeeeded that high grit.

Very high praise! Thank you! I was for sure concerned about it being too cut and dry NIN without my own stank on it, I'm glad it came through stanky as always.

well dang, you CRUSHED this one!
everything is so locked in, but tHAT RIFFF IS SO NASTEEEE

That is a VERY Reznor "snare" sound... super industrial.  Love me some distorted all the things.  Cool track.

This nails so many NIN points oh geebus I really didn't mean to make so many puns. It's awesome. It hits all the right places. It was fun to master too!

I think Closer is the closest snare to that snare. I could be wrong. More puns.

Lovin the Reznor vibes from the opening riff.  Gave me some "Deep" vibes right away.  Def could hear his voice in that opening line.  Guitars sound great and the intricate industrial ear candy placed throughout is spot on.  Had me nodding along the entire time.  \m/

It's a dirty dirty snare and delivers such distinct flavor.

For sure feels like the snare from Closer. Crunchy and dirty.

Hell yeah. Thanks! The ear candy and risers were fun. Tweaked a couple of instruments to just do weird unpredictable shit and it turned out great.

Heard this one driving home from work the other day, came back to leave a comment, had to play this one loud in the car, never read any of the description when I first heard it but instantly all I heard was NIN! So good!

First thing I thought when I heard it is that it has NIN vibes and then I read your comment.  Haha.  Love the filthy guitar and repeating groove through the track.

Thank you! Cranked and in the car is where I audition most of my tracks. Hearing it through headphones so much only goes so far.

Thanks! It's that dirty snare I feel really sells it. Instantly gave me Closer vibes.
