Somatic Dysfunction

By BarristerPlong on August 25, 2024 3:53 pm

Too many ideas this week, too little time to complete them. Wound up making an ambient track this week cause I kept biting off more than I could chew.
It's my guitar through ChaseBliss mood on a reverse delay then into Ableton with Valhalla Supermassive giving it some juicy stereo reverb. Added a little bit of texture with my Minifreak

This is such a meditative drone. Not sure what it was, but it absolutely relaxed me. Gentle moving textures.

I could see using this to relax at night - your #sleep tag is appropriate!

I love that you made this using your guitar - very moody stuff, I like it

I love the strong resonances that push and pull you at different points, it's so smooth. Great work on the effects chain!

Beautiful calming track.  Love when that flaring part comes in over the lighter guitar.  The main melody as it repeats is so nice.  Yay for Supermassive +1

instantly brought down my bp, thanks for that.
this is lovely and i will be coming back when i need to let go of some stress for real.
also a big fan of Supermassive over here.

Dizzyingly beautiful. Really lush soundscape, the added texture really brings it to life.

Thank you! The microlooper on the Mood has a stretch function that turns any chord into a choir of angels. It instantly makes this meditative ambient canvas.

My pedalboard has so many effects it's basically a synth in it's own right.

I get caught up in high BPM tracks I forgot how peaceful and wonderful it is in the ambient space. I'm happy it helped you chill out. Supermassive is such a huge help since my pedalboard is mono to add some stereo space to everything.
