Skunchy

Quick one day sketch on my M8. Used the line out on my Katana Mini and recorded right into the M8.
Turned out alright! Feels a little short and could use a solo or two for length, but it's a good proof of concept.
4.0 was such a huge update for the M8 I'm still working through the endless possibilities. The addition of EQ alone is huge and makes me want to make this my primary DAW.
For sure more tracks like this in the future. I made this at work with my M8, a battery amp, and my jazz master. A kit small enough to fit in a gig bag and doesn't need a plug.

The guitar here is so perfect that it does all the work to integrate with the m8's synths really well. Clean sound, consistent groove, it's really awesome.

Very cool!

I have no clue about how those little trackers work, but a lot of WBers do pretty awesome tracks using it.

I like those guitars on the background. Thick sound, adds cool organic sounds to those synths.

Was about to say exactly what djippy said about WBers and M8s.  Love how everyone incorporates and uses them.  Really enjoyed when the skunchy lead comes in ripping thru the beat.  That bassline midway is extra menacing as it bubbles in the low octave.  Excellent pace to this that had me nodding and tappin along.  Also what a cool name for an amp.  Coincidentally I think this would fit in perfect with the game, Katana Zero.  Nice work!

The guitar really does tie it all together nicely. I think I've found my jam.

Trackers are a little bewildering at first, but they're such powerful compositional tools once you crack into em. The M8 in particular is incredible for what it can do.
Organic sounds is the perfect way to put it. The guitar definitely fills it out and cuts through a lot of the tight edges of the synths.

Thanks! The saw swarm lead and the guitar were so perfect for each other, super happy with how it turned out.
I loved Katana Zero, it was an all around excellent game and oozing with style.

This has such an energetic drive, love it

The fastest you've ever brought that trash and recycling around though.

haha i picked them up and carried them over my head like i had conquered the damn neighborhood

Great blend with the guitar and synth section while the rest of the track carries a tasty dark vibe to it.  Quite like the snare sound too.  Definitely love the dirty guitar tone.  \m/

Thank you! After all those drum samples I went through, I wound up using a Linndrum kit I already had. It's just perfect for the genre.

Ah yes.  They can work a treat.
