Huron-Fal

This is a 'fuck it, we do it live' week for me. I had a chord progression that I loved and felt it deserved more than what I'd been able to do with it this week. So I dragged my pedalboard and my H6 to the studio, shut the door, cranked the volume and shook the walls hoping to get a 1 take doom good enough for a track. This was rushed, and I still haven't gone over all the takes I had, this was the first that I found that was presentable on short notice.
It's okay, it sounds great but with no goal in mind, I more or less played nonsense.

But more importantly...
HALF WAY BABY! HAPPY WEEK 26!

Epic lament choon for the midway point! I appreciate the dark visuals in the lore.

It may or may not be nonsense, but it sounds huge, epic, and intense.  I detect something a little wistful about it, too.  Feels like a lamentation.

Having now read the lore after the fact, I think it fits as a sort of eulogy for those lost to the virus.

Almost immediately made a soyface when I heard this track. The tone and the vast reverb is soooooooo nice.

Once again, your track DEMANDS attention as soon as it comes on. Grabbed my ear immediately. Man, I love the vibe here. So desolate, so lonely. Beautiful!

this is so good, perfectly fit to be a long intro for an album wink

Awesome use of the guitars. It is cinematic, dark and powerful. Well played!

Amazing! Could listen to this for hours! big_smile

fuck yeah!! love the vibe, could listen for hours waiting for the drop

this is the fantastic, cinematic doom-ambient track I didn't know I needed. happy half way point

just the start synth made me hooked !!! the guitar is so mysterious!! this is a great journey thro the dark lands to find the abyss !!!

ABSOLUTELY GARGANTUAN.

And really brutal, amazing work.

An epic wall of sound with an awesome sounding guitar! \m/  Feels like a hero is observing the aftermath of a great war.  Love how the guitar sounds when you let it ring out.  Awesome work!

Gorgeous. Immense. Resolute.

Wow, this is so huge and intense.
Love that this is just a live take. Absolutely smashed it!

Thank you!Warhammer Novels are extremely visceral. They're good stuff, even if sometimes they're just bolter porn.

It felt great in the room. I lost track of time very easily.
