Eldritch Makeout Party

By BarristerPlong on October 25, 2024 8:40 pm

It's doom and gloom time. Gotta bring out a doom track for spooky season.
This one came out great. I'm really happy with it though I could have mixed the drums a little better, they get lost in the build as immense as it is.

Just the idea of a makeout party weirds me out a little. And then you add eldritch beings to it? NOPE!!! Hahahahaha...
Super cool stuff, the slow relentlessness of the guitar is quite nice. And the organ-y synth also works really well to add a heavy Gothic touch to the whole thing for that extra horror zest =P

Haha. I figured a romantic evening for eldritch beings would be quaint for them, but catastrophic and reality shattering for others. Entire solar systems destroyed in a calamitous embrace of two unthinkable beings that don't obey our laws of reality.

Ooof the growly guttural guitarrrr \m/ \m/  The tension rising around 2mins is awesome with the organ and guitar.  I also like how the guitar and drums are hitting on that cymbal together.  A battle between two unthinkable beings indeed! yikes

Distorted low tuned guitars are just heaven to my ears, this is my 7 string tuned to drop A. I'm super happy with the build up in this it just gives me goosebumps and drives my imagination wild.

holy CARPS

am i hearing some secret vocals, or is that all guitar/ synth sounds?
that final growling sound is so spooky
nice work all around!

No lyrics, but that growling sound is a vosim at a low octave which gives hints of word like sounds.

Ain't no party like an eldritch makeout part, because try as you might, you cannot stop or even comprehend it.
