Some slow jazz this week. An exercise in minimal progressions it's just an Amin7 to E7. Composition was a little tough this week cause my dumb ass injured my right hand which makes basically everything difficult.

Happy week 22! So close to the half way point!

Such fat, chonky bass. I love the noir side of your music. I feel like I'm smoking a cigarette in a low-lit Paris bar right now.

Soothing stuff BarristerPlong. big_smile Love the guitar tone and that looping, whirly high pad in particular.

Indeed your noir feels have set the scene again.  I feel like Agent Cooper after a few drinks seeking coffee and cherry pie. That lead guitar line is so good too!  Scuse me while I walk backwards out da room!

I like the clean guitar tones quite a bit!

e pianos with the delays are very nice as well. The long reverbs on the snare works great, and the "theremin" style synth adds some kind of fun halloween vibes.

Fun soundscape right here! The right blend of vibe and appealing elements made the tune fly by. The star is the guitar.

so smooth. great jazz tune for a super villain to plan something sinister to or an all nighter by a PI to solve a crime. we were watching the new spider noir series and this would fit so well. I can see why people were impressed by the bass being FM. that's wild. surely the guitar is real? it sounds great.

This song wants to fuck me, and I'd let it.

Super chill and once again completely transports me to a dark smoky bar in an exotic location.  You really nail that noir feel every time you go for it.

My stream connection on Sunday absolutely sucked donkey balls, only heard bits and pieces. Was also at the grocery store for a lot of it and wasn't able to keep up with who was playing at any given moment - but I heard a snip of this one and IMMEDIATELY knew it was you. Really love the synthy, smoky slow jazz sound you're finding this year - great instrumentation, and the guitar line was PERFECT. So well done.

ooh yeah, i smell like smoke after listening to this one
clean guitar is so smooth, reverb feels very dialed in.
hope that hand is feeling better!

Thank you! Yeah, that pitch wobbly theremin sound has an strong familiarity with spooky and sci fi stuff.

Be careful don't want to wind up with electro-gonorrhea, the noisy killer!

Thank you! For all the genre hopping I do, it feels great to know that I'm still recognizable.

Thank you! It is slowly getting better. I don't think I broke anything thankfully, but I do not self-repair like I used to.
