Play The Light

By Barney Rubble on April 28, 2024 6:52 pm

This song was recorded from an instrument that is called "Beamz". The different instruments you hear are played by breaking a laser beam with your hand (or something), causing the voice you've associated with that laser to play. There are 6 lasers on this original model. Just like a synth, you can use presets, or user defined voices and 'routines' (if you purchased the editor SW). Once the chord progressions and a few other parameters are set, Beamz will not play a 'wrong' note (Thank God!) regardless of which laser(s) you break. The presets are fun, but mostly directed towards kids. The editor is a PITA! I was able to put this ditty together, and remember now why it stays in the closet. Hope you enjoy.

Great sounds and experimentation, very fun and enjoyable.
