That Morning Alarm

By bantampatch on April 3, 2022 11:28 am

This one lost its steam as the week went by... Written and mixed on the Dirtywave M8.  Sampled a Moog Little Phatty, Roland JU06, and a Korg MS-20.

that beat surges so thick, like my brain is the speaker and it longs to break out the box of my skull!

Dynamic and dope

Wow, thank you!

Wouldn't mind waking up to this

the bass + beat groove drive this track so well under the other elements floating on top.

my one suggestion would be try adjusting the bass rhythm to match the kick drum the tonic notes.  can really solidify the low end, acting like an xtra-phat 808.  And any faster melodic bass notes stand out more in contrast.
(reminds me of a sketch from years ago i've been meaning to revive, where i made that realization)
