Very similar situation with the one last week in which I had close to no time for music. Therefore here's another gentle and emotional ambient jam using piano instead of guitar. I like how on the Korg Wavestate there are layers that can be made to have different parameters including transposing (I pitched the pads +5 and +9 semitones) and non-quantised rhythms - this allows for very organic pads underneath a standard key sound. By the way, the Wavestate is now available as VST with exactly the same functionality and sounds, a real and amazing treat for those that are DAW-only or lacking space for another device.

Love the aesthetics of this—deeply contemplative with a hint of melancholy and more than a hint of understated gravitas.

I found myself smiling nearly every time there was a portentous bang on the lower keys, or one of those reverse blips, or the high keys made a run for it.  So pretty much grinned the whole way through.  tongue

beautiful~
