Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I had started this before the M8tracker had it's scale update it was the result of pushing myself to stick to a scale and different Key. Going for a game level BGM here. We got some 16 bit Sega drums, C64 leads, Acoustic bass and weird percussion.

Spanish Phrygian, in key of F I think, wanted to avoid my go to C minor
Nice, yeah that's a harmonic minor mode, you can tell by the minor 3rd interval, very distinctive and non-western sounding. Lots of fun! I need to play with those more.
