Neon

Another one made entirely in headphones. When I listened to it briefly in speakers, it seemed like it might be too bassy. Well, mum's been staying with me these past 5 weeks and she's off adventuring as of tomorrow, so I'll be able to crank the volume on my speakers next week! Also looking forward to playing my synths again, they've all been packed away for the last few weeks.

The chord prog in this one was dictated by a chord pad that I played right at the beginning. All major chords! This never happens when I come up with chords on my own.

After I named this track, I started reading about how neon signs are made. So cool. Then I started shopping for neon signs. They're pretty expensive though! Maybe one day, in my dream studio....

Has a bit of a mystical feel to me somehow.  Very nice.

Nice percussive interplay.

I think a neon light would inject unwanted noise (hum) into your mixes.

Awwwww, booooo!

I love the chord progression for sure. It's not super hard to make one yourself, though it can feel a little easy.
