Midnight Car Chase

By Podling on July 22, 2018 8:13 am

Started with loading a sample I created a few weeks back into Samplr. Made 5 other stems in Samplr with other samples already on file. Then bounced into Pro Tools, mixed/fx/added drums... Final touch was remembering the voicemail I received (Cosmic Cairns also received and used which reminded me) and bounced in, stretched, quantised, booyah! Peace and piglets.

Glad to hear you ran with the voice mail idea!  It does sound remarkably similar to the one I received although you've utilized it in a different way.  I like the background synths a lot as well.

Yeah, this sounds like the same lady that's calling me. Except she doesn't have the rhythm smile Very cool in a blade runner outworld kind of way!

Great rhythmic vocal treatment. Sparse bed really sets it off.

Cool idea and well executed! I get random voicemails that sound like this all the time
