Micro Ballad

I wasn't very inspired today but I still wanted to make some sounds with the Korg Minilogue. So here it is, something simple, a bit eerie. After recording, I realized the mix was not optimal and I could have done better but I didn't have enough time to rework it all. I think I could really benefit from a multitrack recorder instead of sampling clips on the Deluge. I have my eyes on the Zoom L-12 which seems perfect for my use but I don't want to burn money on it yet. I think I shall try to sell some of my music and buy it with the proceeds.

This track is really great for something that feels uninspired. But I think sometimes what you look for as an artist is different to how people experience what you make. Anyway, I love the way the track opens and closes. The sounds are just really calm and pretty.
