The Walking Pace

By Ashen Simian on November 10, 2024 6:58 pm

We got a dog to the famiy three months ago, so I have been doing quite a bit of walking recently. Our dog Rauha (means "pecaeful" in finnish... luckily seems to live by its name) likes to walk a few kilometers three times a day, so it is actually quite a lot. I am not the one to walk it every time, but at least 1-2 times per day anyway...luckily we live on the edge of the town, so it is not just urban treks. But anyway, I sort of seem to live to a walking pace and I wanted my WB input also to reflect that. So I did a simple, mid tempo programed backing and improvised onto it in just one full take with analog synths. I decided to leave certain out-of-tune drifting in the mix and keep it spontaneous...I also added a few obligatory dog noises there too. Btw, they are not by our dog...it seems to bark very very rarely, hardly at all!

RAUHA!love it.
this is a great walking pace. this should be the official theme song for all (peaceful) dog walks i think.

those synths sound so nice

Such a nice groove!!! Awesome work

Thanks!!
I like this one too quite a bit. It is a bit demolike, but I actually like that thing too.... music of today is often very dehumanized and clean in every way...I lkie to have a bit of ragged humanity in the electronic music too.

i'm all for ragged humanity  heart

This is a good tune with an amazing pace. Peaceful for a walk, or any other occasion.
