Light at the Ends of a Tunnel

By Ashen Simian on January 25, 2026 7:49 pm

A busy week behind, so not anything too clever here. I did a sort of melodic sequencer driven track, which tries to keep on the ambient route. At least I didn´t fill it with mindless noodling on a monosynth this time. The usual gera here, the melodic and chordal real time playing is done with Ensoniq Fizmo and TS-10.

Love the ice-like plinky plinky and the super chill ending with the contemplative synth line fading!

I agree the plinky sounds are really cool.  The other synths are elegant and spacey.  The ending took a nice little surprise turn, too.  I really like this one.

This is very pretty. Wonder what kind of tunnel this is.

Thanks! This was relaxed affair to do, so I am glad that it could convey the same feeling also to the listeners...

Haha! At least it must be rather dark in the middle, as the light shines from both ends!  Glad you liked it...
