Agartha

The first track for the latter half of WB 18! A bit haphazard collection of unreal synth textures and a bit apocalyptic moods. Actually this is for most part a test of a Moog Voyager I bought after selling four other synths! It is a beast... so the gear this time is just the Voyager and a couple of sounds from a sampled Mellotron.

I like the choir, the rest feels a bit aimless maybe.

Very atmospheric and mysterious.

Ahhhh... I love the Moog Voyager! once again, you are living out my synth fantasies. Is that sample and hold modulation on the filters? Great exploration of the instrument.  Would love to see this performed live... something about it. Big Big Big!

Well, you´re right that it is a bit aimless... needs something else in places. Maybe I will work on it later, or make another based on same ideas...Thanks, I love the choir sound as well

Yes, it is a monster. And when I first laid my hands on it I really felt that they do not make synths like this anymore (well, my voyager is 15 years old, btw). The build quality is fantastic. What a difference compared to the cheapo plastic boxes of today. Of course, the price (even as used) is also from another world, but nice to have a synth that clearly feels like it is built to last. And yes, it´s the S/H on the filters... this one has a lot to offer in the  modulation departement.
