MMXXVI - II

My wife is 39 weeks pregnant atm. This week, she was hooked up to a tocodynamometer for observation (everything was fine, just precautionary) and we got to hear the amplified heartbeat for ages on this machine. I recorded a section of it and did what comes naturally, quantized the beats and turned it into a drone piece.

The track was heavily reverbed then bussed out to 3 fx buses. The musical bed was from two kontakt libraries I use a lot: Ambition and the classic NI Mallet Flux.

Congrats! That's exciting! I did something a little similar years ago: https://youtu.be/UwySk0VQH9A

Hopefully this is something special you can go back to heart

Beautiful backstory, very special infeed. The bells and vocal pad slowly growing give off a calm, hopeful longing that perfectly fits the theme.
