Thunderstorm

By alterationx10 on May 17, 2026 4:51 pm

My daughter (she's 7) was in a funk yesterday morning, so we made a song about a thunderstorm to turn it around!

The arrangement is EZ-Keys Piano/Drums/Bass, not that it's all too complicated.

Lyrics mostly by her, vocals by her.

Making music with kids can be so much fun. And I think you're daughter did well on this! So good job Alterationx10's daughter!!

Aww, this was very cute!

Love this….working to put a bad mood into music is a great project and a wonderful lesson. Good job dad, you both killed it heart

The song is good, and her vocals add a great twist to the combination melancholy/hopeful vibe. Excellent collaboration. Your next assignment, should you and she choose to accept it, is a silly song wink

Thanks, everyone! I've been telling her all the comments, and she's so happy to hear all the good vibes.

Also, we have been planning a silly song called "Chicken Nuggets and French Fries" for this year - maybe next week will be the week!
