Did this on my Dirtywave M8. Not terribly refined, but while making the song I thought of dueling lead chip synth style voices, where one plays over the other, while the first embellishes the part a bit.

Those are some big clashes at the end there. I think you can make this work better with a call/response dynamic between the leads.

You are right - I was trying to do something "more unique" at the end, and while I like the effect, I agree it clashes with the rest of the song a bit. Thank you for the feedback!
