Island of Light

Oh boy, this track was like forcing yourself to drink gone off milk.

It is not that I don't like it, its got charms, but it kinda got out of hand quickly and after a couple of builds, wanted to keep getting bigger, but the foundations didn't feel strong enough. Yet bigger it got, and then I had to mix it, and I really struggled to get a balance. Next week we have to scope better.

Anyway, enjoy on headphones, cus it sound real bad through speakers big_smile

I did have fun with the art tho! So that is something heart

Stay safe out there.

Very powerful, the intro is beautiful!

Man, the first minute is a perfect intro, then it's a transition. Midway we have a full anime track, then it's an epic cathedral music, indie rock and some fantasy game music mixed in. There are like 3 amazing tracks in this one big_smile

Nice build up. Like those guitars.

I don't know why, but there is something that gives me Muse vibes.

Big arena power rock with nice synths.

Well played!

Wow! This is one hell of a track! Great atmosphere. Fav heart

love the post rock vibe with the intro that then blasts off with the synths.  Excellent snare fills with the build up.  Gave me some Caspian meets M83 feels too.  Oooh the guitar around 3:33 had me nodding along waiting for the buildup and release. Hell yais! Such a grand release with the guitars. \m/ What a ride! Love that sorta exit/load-screen outro too.

Absolutely huge! The building energy throughout this track is great. Lovely post rock vibes mixed with heavy synths. That last big playoff riff is just so good. The feeling of traveling through space going faster and faster reminds me a bit of Outer Wilds, which is always a good thing.

Dustsucker is right, this thing is huge! And the art for the cover is also very good as well

The guitars are definitely saving it
it is now become a tasty cheese
