Floats

By alonemusic on May 24, 2026 8:01 am

This week finally sees the pay off of 'what if I put two tracks kinda together, and hopefully that will fill out the run time.' Yet already listening back, I really didn't need to.. I guess I just always feel like about 5 minutes is a good length of time...

Anywho. I wanted to play with some new toys to prepare for a terrifingly close live performance in a few weeks. The ending section, and also the little break early on, are me tuning several fairly free oscillators to chords, then fading between them. I used a Soma RoAT and Crows Ovum, and the bastl Kastle for much of this, a bit of delay and reverb and things were sounding good!

This aside, I also wanted to make something a bit more chill this week. The sun is out, but also my to-do list is increasing rapidly.

Enjoy!

what is this feeling swelling in my chest?
ah yes, HOPE.
thank you heart

*great artwork as usual

Very cinematic. I like theses spacious synths a lot.

Well done.

Very pretty, once again. Floating though sonic space.

Wow, cinematic, big hopeful anthemic scenery. Rich full sounds, lots of ear candy bit too. Floating through the cosmos, or perhaps the inner space. Love the cover art.

This is warm and uplifting. Really dig the soundscape here. Prepping and deciding gear for a live set is always such a challenge. Don't want to bring too much but don't want to leave anything you might want behind.
