Trees in the Mist

As we enter the final quarter of this challenge I think for me it's nigh time to come closer to one of the stylistic traits I prize most...and at the same time hesitant to tackle so that I don't make it a mess smile This is blending folk instruments and feels with more modern ones and making a coherent and atmospheric piece (not just using the folk instruments as samples). This track starts this journey with the music focusing on a 12 string acoustic played in one-take improv (thus some mistakes), flute and panflute. On top of it is a gentle pad made on MicroFreak and Volca Keys. Towards the end there's a little twist with some more rhytmic elements and a synthy solo. I leave that to you to discover.

Perfect!

I guess my only suggestion would be to lower the vol of the synth slightly
Overall I'm really happy to hear this track! Thanks

Glad you liked it! Yes, I might have gotten a bit too carried away with the solo ^_^

And also drowning in reverb, let's not forget that. A great whole all things together.

this was an unexpected sound to stumble on to. very lush soundscape. that reverb and pad combo in the first section is great. and that synth really brought it together lol
